Vice President Biden drew a sharp contrast with Mitt Romney over tax policy Thursday, saying the presumptive Republican presidential nominee wanted to “double down on tax cuts for the wealthy” and was “out of step with American values.”
Biden was speaking in New Hampshire, a battleground state where Romney — the former governor of neighboring Massachusetts — is expected to challenge the president in the fall. This was the fourth in a series of campaign speeches in which Biden has looked to draw distinctions between the candidates’ plans for the economy. [...]
