This is the tactic John McCain took in 2008. We all know how that worked out. The GOP candidate needs to be willing to vet Obama. The mainstream media will never do the job. We can't afford a timid candidate.

Wouldn't be surprised if it turns out like last time, a lot of the strong conservative voters saying 'why bother' and stay home.
A few months ago I thought Barry-O was toast; now I figure he's got a real good chance to annoy us for another 4 years.
Dear Mitt,
Debating someone who won't (or can't) debate you on policy will lose you voters. The MSM won't stand for you actually holding the One's feet to the fire on any issue, regardless of if you are right on it.
