Nanny State Alert: New Hampshire bill would ban perfume and scented soaps for people with public jobs

New Hampshire is no longer the "Live Free or Die" state.

Via FOX News:
Less is more, according to New Hampshire lawmakers debating whether to ban the use of scented or fragrant soaps by state employees.

Under House Bill 1444, state workers who interact with the public would be prohibited from wearing fragrances or scented products while on the job, MyFoxBoston reported.
The reason for the proposed ban -- exposure to scented products can irritate or worsen symptoms for people with asthma or allergies.

  1. Some of the commenters on the story are saying things along the lines of grow up and stop spraying yourself so you smell like a french whorehouse.
Sigh...one problem with that you overreactive mental defectives. READ the goddamn bill and I quote"State employees who work with the public shall not wear fragrances or use scented products during regular business hours." Which would mean essentially, no body washes, no soaps, no shampoos and no deodorants; with scents added[and almost ALL of them do] could be used by state employees. THINK about it. How many times a day do you wash your hands? Is your deodorant scented? mine is. What about your shampoo? Or the lotion you use to keep your skin moisturized ladies? The people of the state of New Hampshire need to go to the state capital building and apply the CLUE BY 4 to any number of thick skulls in the building.
