Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown reportedly has a $12.8 million campaign war chest.
U.S. Sen. Scott Brown, facing the prospect of a re-election dogfight with well-funded Democrat Elizabeth Warren, flexed his fundraising muscles at the end of 2011, hauling in $3.2 million in the year’s final three months, newly-released figures show.
Brown raised just under $8.5 million in 2011, including the $3.2 million haul, which marked the Wrentham Republican’s strongest fundraising quarter since his 2010 special election. The fundraising bonanza puts Brown’s war chest at $12.8 million, his campaign said.
