WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Michele Bachmann’s campaign manager says it’s hard to tell whether she will continue her campaign after a bleak showing in the Iowa caucuses.Newt Gingrich criticizes Romney and bolts for New Hampshire.
Asked if he could say with certainty whether she would go forward with her candidacy, Bachmann campaign manager Keith Nahigian told The Associated Press, “I don’t know yet.”
DES MOINES, Iowa -- Newt Gingrich blamed a poor showing in the Iowa caucuses on his rivals' attack ads and seemed to conclude that turnabout is fair play as he pressed on with a new aggressive stance against front-runner Mitt Romney.
After criticizing Romney for running a negative campaign and promising to stay positive, Gingrich appeared before supporters to criticize the former Massachusetts governor as someone who couldn't bring change to Washington. He also planned to run television ads against Romney in the next three states to vote – New Hampshire, South Carolina and Florida.
Well Newt was hoping everyone would stay positive so his baggage would stay in the closet...he should have known there was no chance since this is politics...so nothing to lose now Newt....go neg or go home...
ReplyDeleteDepending on what effect (if any) his attacks on Romney may have...Santorum may be the last one standing...NH will be interesting to watch....
Oh and Iowa...WTH with Paul coming in 3rd?...I would be embarrased to say I was from Iowa after that...c'mon....the guys a nutbar.
Bachman is out. Perry is still in, at least through South Carolina. Gingrich is going to continue to drop like a rock, given that he's shifting his campaign into 'revenge' mode against Romney.
