President Obama demanded Congress pass his jobs bill 17 times during his speech to Congress and the American people. Actually, there isn't a bill yet. All we have is a speech. After the speech, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor was disappointed President Obama was presenting this as an all or nothing plan. Cantor said there were some ideas in Obama's speech that Republicans had been talking about for a long time and seemed open-minded about working with Democrats to implement them, but there seemed to be zero chance of the House GOP engaging in class warfare and implementing President Obama's plan in total.
