What could possibly go wrong?
(National Journal)- Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., will appoint Democratic Sens. Patty Murray of Washington, Max Baucus of Montana and John Kerry of Massachusetts to the new "super committee" tasked with finding $1.2 trillion in additional deficit reduction by Nov. 23, Reid announced Tuesday.
Additionally, Murray is expected to co-chair the committee, officially named the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction, along with a still unnamed House Republican. A spokesman for Reid did not respond to a request for comment.

Yea, i'm sure those 3 will be allll about the spending cuts, and reeeally ready to compromise and NOT raise taxes. Here we go again, same thing as the debt ceiling battle.
We better have some strong conservatives to send into that war room..
No way this is constitutional-- its gotta be challenged in court, & the sooner, the better-- last time I checked my constitution, it REQUIRES ALL OF CONGRESS to be allowed to vote on what, when, and how the budget is changed, up or down, and NOT by "automatic adjustments" by a "mini Congress"
It's qute obvious that Reid only want to stonewall the committee..too bad he don't put the country first
