"Bulging Underpants" is resigning over his sexting scandal. I miss him already.
BROOKLYN, N.Y. — In the same room where he launched his first campaign for City Council two decades ago in the Gravesend neighborhood of Brooklyn, Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) announced his resignation from Congress on Thursday.Spiking the football: I predicted last Friday Weiner would resign by this Friday.
“Today I’m announcing my resignation from Congress so my colleagues can get back to work, my neighbors can choose a new representative and more importantly that my wife and I can continue to heal from the damage I have caused,” he said.
