Democratic officials familiar with the plan say Obama will file 2012 campaign papers with the Federal Election Commission as early as this coming week.
It’s a long-anticipated but formal step that will allow him to start raising money for the campaign, which will be based in Chicago.

Well, let's see what position he takes this time. Is he going to be honest and campaign as a socialist, left wing liberal, or is he going to try and pull the wool over everyone's eyes again and campaign like a moderate and claim to be a Christian when it's obvious he isn't?
Well, the cons have been throwing everything they have at the President for going on five years now. Nothing has worked, nothing has stuck. The cons fear his greatest qualities. Intelligen¬ce, dignity, character, and strong family life. Some of their people may have one of those qualities, but none has the entire package. Cons fear what they cannot understand or have.
I think no matter what the rhetoric of the election, a great deal of the presidency depends on congress. Unfortunately, we’ve seen a Republican intransigence and strategy of blocking any legislation unlike anything I’ve ever known. As a result, despite having the mandate of the people in both houses as well as the executive, the Republicans blocked not only a Liberal agenda but even tried to block centrist compromises which should have been palatable to at least moderate Republicans.
