PPP Poll: "The Donald" Leads the GOP Presidential Contender Field By 9 points

Think Like a Champion: An Informal Education In Business and Life

By talking about President Obama's hidden birth certificate and missing records, Donald Trump has shown Republican voters he is the only Republican candidate with the "cahones" to stand up to Obama, Democrats and the mainstream media. Look for him to open the gap to double-digits within the next couple of weeks. Huckabee, Romney, Gingrich and Palin better reach down and find a pair unless they want to be left in Trump's dust. Sadly, Sarah Palin is probably the only one of the remaining group with any chance of finding their "cahones".
(TPM) — A new PPP poll released on Friday shows Donald Trump leading the Republican presidential primary race by much more than a hair.

In fact, the poll shows the brash real estate tycoon turned reality TV show host posting a large nine-point lead on the nearest competition. It’s the latest in a flurry of recent surveys to show the Donald running strong in the GOP field, but it’s the first to show him all alone at the front of the pack.

Trump garnered 26% of the vote, followed by Mike Huckabee (17%), Mitt Romney (15%), Newt Gingrich (11%), and Sarah Palin (8%.) Ron Paul earned 5%, while Michele Bachmann and Tim Pawlenty took 4% each.

  1. God help us. Hopefully, Trump is just a passing fad. He's not a conservative no matter how often he lies and says he is. You give $50k to Rahm Emanuel, Alinsky's biggest fan: you're not a conservative. For all we know, they put him up to it to provide an amusing diversion from the budget fight.

Trump has spoken out against our debt to China and illegal immigration. He has business experience, name recognition, knows how to handle himself in front of the camera and has plenty of money to fight against Obama's billion dollar reelection campaign. Also, Trump is a pit bull who will go nose-to-nose with President Obama. I am sure conservatives have differences with Trump on many issues, but please don't dismiss him this quickly.

  3. IMHO, he's being used as a vote splitter...vote for him and Obama wins the re-election.
