Most people in government jobs know they won't get a bad review no matter what their job performance is. Giving someone a bad review is no fun and it's not like the government has to show a profit or anything.
(IBD)- Just 737 federal employees were denied a pay increase in 2009 due to poor job performance, according to information obtained by the Federal Times, a D.C. newspaper for government employees. That’s about one out of every 1,698 workers, or a denial rate of 0.06%.
Believe it or not, that is actually up from recent years, according to data from the Office of Personnel Management.
