Fail: Harry Reid tries to weasel out of "Surge Failed" claim during campaign debate

Harry Reid is all over the place trying to justify his claim the "surge" in Iraq failed. He tries to blame his comment on discussions he had with Gen. Petraeus. However in April 2007 Harry Reid claimed he didn't believe Gen. Petraeus. In response to a 2007 CNN question about whether Reid believed Petraeus claim there has been progress in Iraq, Reid responded,

"No, I don't believe him, because it's not happening."

Here is Harry Reid spinning like crazy and coming up on "fail."
