"Rep. Johnson told us that she did not know the rules of our scholarships, and that once she realized she erred, she would make retribution to the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation in terms of returning the money," she said.
Now that she has been busted as another corrupt Congressional Black Caucus member, Rep. Johnson is willing to give the money back. I wonder if she will make a trip to her garage freezer to retrieve some cold cash.
In the video embedded below, Texas Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson goes on on 'Washington Watch' and explains how the Office of Congressional Ethics is treating Congressional Black Caucus members unfairly. She claims the charges are "very simple stuff and when it finishes, probably nobody will be in trouble." She must have meant simple stuff like cheating deserving students out of scholarships for the enrichment of her family.
