The U.S. government spent $550,496 to study the sex lives of trucker and access their HIV risk. A half a million tax dollars later; they failed to find a single case of HIV.
CNS reported:
The federal government has spent $550,496 on a project that involved conducting “focus groups and in-depth interviews” with American long-haul truck drivers to learn about their sex lives in order to assess their risk of contracting HIV or other sexually transmitted infections.
The project has failed to find any instances of HIV among the truck drivers studied.

At least this relates to people in the US. They spent $1.4 million studying the sex lives of Vietnamese prostitutes.

A Trucker on Twitter said he could have explained it to them for $100. He said truckers don't have a sex life.
