In spite of the deep chill President Obama has cast over U.S. and Israeli relations, he bristles when a reported asks him "if distancing from Israel was a mistake." Obama denies there is any distance in our relationship with the only democracy in the Middle-East. He claimed there were no “public statements” during his Presidency to support the idea that he has been “distancing from Israel.” No public statements? How about private ones? How about the snub of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu during his last White House visit? Even on this "buddy, buddy" visit there is no customary East Room event and the Pentagon's honor cordon for PM Netanyahu was canceled unexpectedly.
