Major US companies, after being forced to write down hundreds of millions of dollars due to the new law and are calculating the financial effect of dumping their employees health care plans and paying the government penalty. Everything Republicans claimed that was bad about the law seems to be coming true. The cost curve will be bent up, not down, millions (14) of Americans will lose their current coverage, three million will be paying a penalty, doctors will be in short supply, sex offenders will get viagra, consumers will "game" the law and "death panels" will reign supreme. Apparently, President Obama thinks we should find these revelations good news. No wonder opposition to the new law has jumped after signing.

The new health care law already is helping millions of people through tax breaks for small businesses and assistance for families with young adults, President Barack Obama said Saturday....
“Already we are seeing a health care system that holds insurance companies more accountable and gives consumers more control,” the president said.
