In Another Victory For The Tea Party, Rand Paul Should Easily Win In Kentucky

The Real Clear Politics average has Ophthalmologist Rand Paul up by an average of 14.2 points in the Kentucky GOP Senate primary race. His opponent Trey Grayson doesn't appear to have a prayer. Grayson has bombarded Kentuckians with ads claiming Rand Paul is "too strange for Kentucky." Voters obviously haven't fallen for this attempt to tear Paul's image down. The Tea Party is supporting Rand Paul out of fear Trey Grayson will be another RINO. The interesting part of this race will be the aftermath. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has endorsed his protege Trey Grayson. Rand Paul is refusing to say if he will support McConnell as GOP leader.
