Harry Reid: Republicans are “making love to Wall Street”

During the 2008 Presidential election, it was Barack Obama who was “making love to Wall Street.” Goldman Sachs and their employees donated $994,795 to Obama's campaign. Citigroup Inc chipped in another $701,290. JPMorgan Chase & Co and Morgan Stanley also made Obama's top 20 donation list.

The Hill reported:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) accused Republicans Wednesday of “making love to Wall Street.”

Reid charged that Republicans are stalling action on a Wall Street reform bill because “they are having difficulty determining how they’re going to continue making love to Wall Street” by resisting banking regulation.
