Gallup Poll: 28% of Americans are Tea Party Supporters

A new Gallop poll has found 28% of Americans identify themselves as supporters of the Tea Party movement. Also, 21% of Tea Party supporters are minorities. Didn't Democrats and the mainstream media tell us the Tea Party was a bunch of extremists and racists?

From March 26-28, Gallup asked 1,033 adults this question: “Do you consider yourself to be--[a supporter of the Tea Party movement, an opponent of the Tea Party movement] or neither?
