Their is a movement underway in California to suspend their 2006 version of Cap and Trade. This law would require California to reduce down its carbon emissions to 1990 levels by 2020. The plan could raise the cost of living by $3,857 per household each year by 2020 according to a study. California is currently dealing with high unemployment (12.3%) and $20 billion budget deficits. The new initiative would suspend the Cap-and Trade law passed in 2006 until unemployment is below 5.5%. Supporters are trying to put this initiative on this November's ballot.
The WSJ reported:
Could Californians finally be serious about turning around their sputtering economy? One hopeful sign is a ballot initiative that would repeal the Golden State's version of a cap-and-trade carbon tax....
My fellow CA citizens-aren't you tired of the scams that have made our beautiful state broke!!?

ReplyDeleteYeah, for a woman in her 40's. This site would seem somewhat reputable if they didn't misspell the first word in the article.
ReplyDeleteMcConnell seemed to be to an architect about the automatic spending cuts, which always were constructed more to make sure you prod a particular deficit-reduction supercommittee so as to reach an agreement rather than and actually take effect. A new supercommittee failed and in addition the idea created by automatic cuts is just proper an unpopular one. http://www.longchamplepliageaustralia.com
ReplyDeleteOur gamesmanship includes votes into our own GOP-controlled House and thus Democratic-run Senate for some of the next two weeks on competing one-year extensions towards President George Bush's 2001 not to mention 2003 tax cuts. Some of the GOP version extends generally full range within your Bush tax cuts. longchamp sale australia
But all the people too risk sharing that blame as your broader tax increase with sudden spending cuts where it economists say would probably throw a new economy home into recession next year.
