Harry Reid Goes Rogue

Harry Reid has gone rogue. He scrapped the bipartisan jobs bill endorsed by the White House and some Republicans and has substituted what he calls a “slim-downed” jobs bill. Apparently Reid was afraid Republicans would use the bill against Democrats in the 2010 election. It doesn't appear Reid consulted the White House before making this anti-partisan move.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on Thursday scrapped a bipartisan jobs bill unveiled hours earlier that had been endorsed by the White House, in a jarring miscommunication between the Obama administration and Democratic congressional leaders.
