America Wins One!

Massachusetts voters dealt a blow against the socialist agenda President Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi have been ramming down America's throat. Republican Scott Brown has won the Massachusetts' Senate seat formerly held by Ted Kennedy. This breaks the 60 vote filibuster proof lock liberals had on the Senate. Now, Democrats will have to negotiate with Republicans on legislation. Also, if Republicans can win in bluest of states like Massachusetts, no democrat's job is safe if they keep ignoring the voters. Look for a lot of Democrats to make a mad dash back to the middle.
In a victory few thought possible just a month ago, Republican Scott Brown defeated Democrat Martha Coakley Tuesday in the race for the U.S. Senate seat formerly held by Ted Kennedy -- a win that could grind President Obama's agenda to a halt and portend huge losses for Democrats in the November midterms.

Coakley has called Brown to concede. With 84 percent of precincts reporting, returns show Brown leading Coakley 52-47 percent. Independent candidate Joseph Kennedy was pulling 1 percent.
