Democrats never met a tax they didn't like. Among the more bizarre things in Harry Reid's Manager's Amendment is a tax on indoor tanning. That's right. If this bill becomes law, there will be a 10% tax on indoor tanning. From page 373 of the Manager's Amendment (pdf):

I figured this was going to happen in July when we began seeing they were going to regulate our behavior and anything that might be unhealthy is going to have a price if you want to enjoy.
