Climategate Update: Mann Throws Jones Under the Bus

AGW climatologists are attacking each other as they scurry for cover in the aftermath of the Climategate leaked email scandal. Professor Michael Mann, the Director of the Earth System Science Center at Pennsylvania State University and author of the infamous hockey stick graph, has moved to distance himself from some of the comments in the emails from Professor Phil Jones who has temporarily stepped down as director of the scandalized Climatic Research Unit (CRU)at the University of East Anglia.

The Telegraph reported:

One of the scientists to whom the emails were addressed, Professor Michael Mann, the Director of the Earth System Science Center at Pennsylvania State University has moved to distance himself from some of the comments in the emails that suggest scientists did not want the IPCC, the UN body charged with monitoring climate change, to consider studies that challenged the view global warming was genuine and man-made.
