Al Gore spent made a speech in Copenhagen about 'melting ice.' Yes. According to the Goracle, "When it is gone, it is gone." I guess Al Gore never visited the University of Illinois website. They are the 'keepers' of sea ice data. According to their records, sea ice has been stable for 150 years.
It is true that some glaciers are melting. This could be considered a normal thing since the Earth has been in a slight warming trend after coming out of a little ice age around 1850. Some glacier melt, such as Kilimanjaro, can be attributed to deforestation. If you still think Al Gore has any scientific credibility, check out his discovery of "stellar fusion" at the Earth's core.

Illinois, now why would Gore go up there. It's much too cold in the winter, and that would be simply foolish to see the truth.
