In an interview, Al Gore made the blatantly false claim that the most recent Climategate email was ten years old.
Q: How damaging to your argument was the disclosure of e-mails from the Climate Research Unit at East Anglia University?
A: To paraphrase Shakespeare, it’s sound and fury signifying nothing. I haven’t read all the e-mails, but the most recent one is more than 10 years old. These private exchanges between these scientists do not in any way cause any question about the scientific consensus. But the noise machine built by the climate deniers often seizes on what they can blow out of proportion, so they’ve thought this is a bigger deal than it is.
The Goracle actually repeated that false claim three times during the interview. The truth is several emails were from this year. One of the more recent emails (2008) was Jones request to other climate researchers to delete their past emails. Gore is either deliberately misleading people or he hasn't even seriously researched the content of the leaked emails. My guess is Al Gore is so arrogant and focused on the millions he is making off the global warming scam; he doesn't care what is in the emails. Of course, he could just be an idiot. Gore did claim the temperature of the Earth's core was millions of degrees. Hey, maybe that is what is causing global warming.
