Vulnerable Democrats Have An Election Epiphany: It's The Economy, Stupid!

After months of being Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Barack Obama lap dogs, blue dog and other vulnerable Democrats have had an election night epiphany. Americans are concerned about jobs and the economy; not climate change, immigration reform or gays in the military. They want to put aside Obama's liberal agenda and focus more on creating jobs. Isn't this what Republicans have been saying all along?

Vulnerable House and Senate Democrats want their leaders to skip the party’s controversial legislative agenda for next year to help save their seats in Congress.

In the run-up to the 2010 midterm elections, they don’t want to be forced to vote on climate change, immigration reform and gays in the military, which they say should be set aside so Congress can focus on jobs and the economy.
