Conservatives feared Dede Scozzafava was a RINO who would be another vote for Nancy Pelosi's attempt advance an ultra liberal agenda. Scozzafava suspended her campaign Friday and announced Saturday he was backing the Democratic candidate Bill Owens. Newt Gingrich and other Republicans who endorsed Scozzafava have a big plate of crow to eat.
