Did Obama Deserve the Nobel Peace Prize More Than These People?

Here is a list of some of the people the Nobel Committee found to be less deserving than President Obama.

From The LRC Blog:
Sima Samar, women’s rights activist in Afghanistan: “With dogged persistence and at great personal risk, she kept her schools and clinics open in Afghanistan even during the most repressive days of the Taliban regime, whose laws prohibited the education of girls past the age of eight. When the Taliban fell, Samar returned to Kabul and accepted the post of Minister for Women’s Affairs.”

Ingrid Betancourt: French-Colombian ex-hostage held for six years.

Dr. Denis Mukwege: Doctor, founder and head of Panzi Hospital in Bukavu...

How does 'Hope and Change' trump 17 years in a Chinese prison? From President Obama's statement:
This award — and the call to action that comes with it — does not belong simply to me or my administration; it belongs to all people around the world who have fought for justice and for peace. And most of all, it belongs to you, the men and women of America, who have dared to hope and have worked so hard to make our world a little better.

  1. Obama is being used by the international community. They want the US to be incapacitated in order to push their New World Order/agenda. He doesn't deserve it and any imbecile can see that. The people on this committee are not imbeciles. They have some kind of agenda and it will not benefit the United States.

  2. I have this blog linked at my blog. When I glanced at the title of this article, I thought it read, "Did Obama Deserve The Nobel Peace Prize More Than The Three Stooges."

But thinking about the mis-read title, the answer still would have to be "no."

  3. Morgan Tsvangerai of Zimbabwe was jailed and beaten by Robert Mugabe's henchmen. They took his passport away and some say killed his wife. He continued to travel and try to restore peace - and food - in Zimbabwe. Obama was president of the USA for TWELVE DAYS when the voting for the Prize closed. He won it for what . . . not being George Bush? What he PLANS to do? Vot for me next year. I PLAN to feed the world. I am appalled he accepted it.
