Rep. Shea-Porter has constituent removed for asking about bussed in SEIU thugs

Rep. Shea-Porter doesn't like it when someone calls her out for "AstroTurfing" her town hall. She had police remove a constituent who asked about SEIU protesters and questioned their residency.

From Hot Air:
When one of her constituents challenges the presence of union enforcers in the crowd, Shea-Porter asks for police intervention.

I’ve watched this video a couple of times, and I still can’t figure out why the police took this man out of the room. He was actually less disruptive than the woman behind him. He challenged Shea-Porter on the appearance of SEIU protesters in the room, one of whom got up and disrupted his question. When the first man then challenged the residency of the SEIU rep, police swooped in and removed him.

Is it any wonder she doesn't think there are any communists in Washington?

Try listening!

The cop clearly said "You were warned" before he escorted the "gentleman" out of the room.

That's just one of the problems with these YouTube extravanganzas: they're so heavily edited, you don't know if what you're seeing is representative of what's actually going on at the meeting.

The guy is an obnoxious jerk, yelling at the cop "you don't have to put your hands on me".

And one guy in a purple SEIU t-shirt doesn't exactly equate to "bussed in SEIU thugs"!

On the other hand, the police are typically union members, so maybe it's a union solidarity thing.

Yeah, that's got to be it. Cops are union thugs, so they won't actually police union thugs.

Could it be, maybe, that the cop was enforcing the law?

Funny, isn't it, how teabaggers get canonized for being buttheads in public meetings, and a Harvard professor gets vilified when hassled by cops in his own home?

Then, why didn't he through out the SEIU member who spoke out of turn and interrupted? Hmmm...

It's pretty obvious that we're watching a clip without any context. The cop said "You were warned" yet there was no warning on the clip, so there had to be something that occurred before they decided to YouTube it. And you notice the guy getting ejected didn't really complain about getting tossed out; he just told the cop to keep his hands off. Odds are the guy was acting like a jerk for a large portion of the meeting just so that he COULD get thrown out and make YouTube, if not the evening local news.

This whole circus is about a bunch of nobodys who see their chance to get 15 seconds of fame.

The "nobody" in this video is a retired cop.

Who cares? He ought to show more respect for the officer, then.
