Andy Rooney insulted veterans on Memorial Day
Bitter liberal Andy Rooney insulted veterans on Memorial Day by saying war was our "least noble activity." Since when was defeating Adolf Hitler and freeing millions of people from an evil dictatorship our least noble activity? From the video:
There is more bravery at war than in peace, and it seems wrong that we have so often saved this virtue to use for our least noble activity - war. The goal of war is to cause death to other people.
While it may be true that defeating Hitler was noble, Rooney's point is that if we all were individuals of character, Hitler would have never been able to raise an army.
If all humans declined to join armies, there would be no war.
Andy Rooney is a veteran.
