ESPN will televise Obama's inauguration live
January 15, 2009
NEW YORK - ESPN is joining the lineup of networks that will offer extensive coverage of President-elect Barack Obama's inauguration next Tuesday.
The network will televise the noon ceremony, and possibly carry live interviews with sports figures at the event.
It's likely the first time that the sports channel has ever covered a presidential inauguration, even with presidents like a former sportscaster (Ronald Reagan) or a former baseball-team owner (George W. Bush). Read more at nbcsports.msnbc.com ..

The Media continues to smooch Obama's butt
Time magazine is putting Barack Obama on the cover for the 15th time. You can see the covers here. This level of coverage is unprecedented. If the editors of Time were poodles, they would be humping Obama's leg. Now, the final insult has occurred. ESPN is broadcasting Obama's inauguration. We won't even be able to turn the channel to sports on inauguration day.
Where is your honor sir? Where is your patriotism? No matter which political side of the fence you wuz raised on, you simply do not defy your own President on his inauguration day.
ReplyDeleteAre you that much of a racist? If you are, its time to get some counsel and learn to love your country. Hate does not work.
The current SCOTUS threshold for a MUST STAY of BHO’s inauguration is not whether he is ultimately determined constitutionally ineligible to be POTUS, merely whether there now is SERIOUS QUESTION on his constitutional eligibility, since any determination of inelligibility AFTER inauguration would pose unnecessary civil and military difficulties.

What is patriotic about seeing Barack Obama on the cover of Time 15 times? Running that many covers was an attempt to manipulate the electorate in my opinion. I believe that was unpatriotic. BTW. Being in the opposition does not make you unpatriotic; unless you think all the people who were opposed to President Bush for the last 8 years were not patriots?
WTF?
ReplyDeleteESPN? QVC? HBO?
sad.

Anonymous..is the right 'handle'..You REALLY shouldnt post your name.. Where was the 'patriotism' when you people castigated, ridiculed and derided the president of the last 8 years?
YOUR values and Americanism seems only to matter when they pertain to your unfettered (and seriously flawed) ideology..
